Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery
EXHIBITION HIGHLIGHTS

Toronto, ON

“I am well in body although considerably rumpled up in spirit, thank you, ma’am,’ said Anne gravely. Then aside to Marilla in an audible whisper, ‘There wasn’t anything startling in that, was there, Marilla?”   ~ L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables.

In keeping with these words spoken by Anne Shirley, nothing could dampen the spirit of those who turned out for our launch! Despite the inclement weather, many attended the opening of the Kindred Spirits exhibit at the Andrew and Laura McCain Art Gallery in Florenceville, NB, on Saturday, May 31, 2025.  Meg Clark, book artist and CBBAG member from Fredericton, spoke about the exhibit, particularly her two works featured in the show. Meg’s needle-felted vignettes inspired by L.M. Montgomery’s books are works of art in and of themselves! Be sure to look for them when you see the show. The Kindred Spirits exhibit will be open to the public at the McCain Gallery from May 31, 2025, to July 5, 2025.
